9th Security Police Squadron

The 9th Security Police Squadron at Beale AFB in California stood guard day and night over the SR-71 Blackbirds for a period of 25+ years. Even today they stand guard over the U-2 Reconnaissance aircraft. This salute is dedicated to those men and women that contributed in their own way to the security of the aircraft and the security of personnel that worked on the Blackbird. Your contributions to the Nation as a whole in your profession reflects credit upon yourself and is deeply appreciated by all men and women who served in the 9th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing and depended on your expertise and professionalism.
