Materials for Original Pattern |

Step #1 The Hook securely in vise |
|
Step #2 Lay down thread base and tie in Tag and Ribbing Material |
|
Step #3 Tie in Hackle Material |
|
Step #4 Dub thread and build body to the hook eye. | |
Step #5 Wrap forward the ribbing and tie down |
|
Step #6 Wrap forward the hackle, tied down, whip finish. |

Final Thoughts: A very simple pattern with a variety of color combinations possible. Use peach, salmon, pink, orange or red body materials - dubbing or chenille. You can also mix and match the hackle colors to match your local river preferences. I think a couple turns of guinea - dyed or natural - would be a nice touch. Dumbell eyes tied in at the head may be functional as well to get this fly down deep and look nice as well. Tight Lines all, Dave |
