They were teachers for the Department of Defense. Teaching and collecting in Japan from 1967-1969. Bringing their treasures to Turner in 1970, the family maintained the home in Turner from 1970 to date. They taught in Germany for eight years and collected there. Then they returned to Japan where they taught and collected until retiring in 1994. Lifetime accumulation by two world travelers.
