Registering a Domain Name

Getting a domain name is one of the first steps to getting your business on the Web.

Here are the steps involved in getting a domain name.

  1. You decide if your new domain will be:
    Parked: Domain Name Service (DNS) provided only, not yet ready for a web site.
    Hosted: Immediate web site and email usage.
         Account Level:
          Basic Enhanced Secure
    and sign our agreement

  2. Your Name:

    Domain Name:

  3. Search Register.com for Domain name you are interested in:
    Payment by credit card is the only acceptable method of payment according to recent industry regulations. Be sure the address for your billing profile and credit card information match, otherwise Register.com will NOT be able to process your transaction.

    Register.com now offers the opportunity to register your domain name for a 1, 2, 5, or 10 year term. If you do not change your registration term, the registration will default to 2 years.


  4. Pay Register.com $70.00 to register the domain name for the first two years. Then $35.00 annually after that.

  5. WVI will send you an invoice for $50.00. This is a one time non-refundable parking/setup fee.
