He acquired these from the historical archives of Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio. These images show the recording system monitoring the historic flight of SR-71 #972 from London to Los Angeles on September 13, 1974. The graphs show the total elapsed time for the flight of 3 hours 47 minutes and 39 seconds for an average speed of 1,435 miles per hour.
